We had the best time playing both Greek and American music for Rachel & Nick’s wedding at the beautiful and luxurious Hotel InterContinental O’Hare! The exuberantly happy couple was welcomed into the ballroom to cheering and thunderous applause….straight into their bridal dance B.B. King’s If You Love Me.

This was just one of those parties where the guests couldn’t wait to dance. Our Chicago wedding band packed the dance floor set after set, with nearly every guest joining Rachel & Nick on the dance floor!

The Metropolitan Club
Sixty-six stories above ground level, Betsy & Zean’s guests danced the night away at the beautiful Metropolitan Club in the Willis Tower. Their bridal dance was Michael Buble’s Everything, which was followed by an elegant traditional Danish waltz, Brudevalsen, for all of the guests. Following Danish tradition, the best man acted as MC for the evening, and at times, became a quasi-roastmaster. There was boundless laughter and great dancing….many congratulations to the bride and groom! One of their absolute MUST PLAY special requests was Proud Mary….video clip below!

It’s always a pleasure to work with Isabella at The Glen Club. Sara & Ryan had a storybook wedding, beginning with the Artistrings string quartet playing all of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons throughout dinner service. Dancing began with their special bridal dance - John Legend’s Slow Dance, followed by Charlie Chaplin’s Smile for Sara and her father, and In My Life for Ryan and his mother. Immediately after that, everyone jumped onto the dance floor to celebrate! Here are just a few video clips from the evening….we think the Proud Mary clip says it all!

The perfect way to cap off a double weekend, we set the mood for Francesca and Costa’s celebration with 3 jazz violins and piano during cocktails. We then opened the tent for dinner service to the sounds of our 14 piece band - Las Vegas style swing! It was a pleasure to work with Alexandra Jusino of Exquisite Events again - the decor was, indeed, exquisite. Dancing included both American and Greek styles…and a little rain didn’t keep this crowd from having a great time!

Tori & Angelo are a wonderful couple who came to their wedding ready to have a fantastic time! Their choice of the fabulous Frank Andonoplas as their consultant ensured that they could relax and leave all of the details to him. Frank & his team were an absolute joy to work with. The photos will be outstanding, because the phenomenal Margaret Busk and her team from Garbo Productions were there too, capturing all of the best moments! We played to a packed dance floor all night long in the beautifully appointed Grand Ballroom of the Hotel InterContinental. From traditional Greek dancing to the most contemporary Rihanna tunes, we had a wonderful time playing for this wedding! Here are just a few clips of the American music from the end of the party…

Sometimes you can tell when it’s going to be a great celebration simply from the bride & groom’s request list. All signs pointed to “party” right from the introductions: Parents strutted into “Billie Jean”/Michael Jackson, Bridal Party danced in to “Brown Sugar”/Rolling Stones, and Melissa and Eric made their entrance with “I Gotta Feeling”/Black Eyed Peas. The Millennium Knickerbocker is one of the most popular venues in Chicago…it must be that dance floor! The Don’t Stop The Music clip (a.k.a. “double dutch”) clip is NOT to be missed!

For weeks prior her daughter Julie’s wedding, mother of the bride Peggy told me numerous times what a great crowd of people they had coming to their party. They were ready to dance all night, and that’s exactly what they did! From the first note to the last dance, this crowd packed the floor all night long. One of many highlights of the evening was Angel singing a special request “Mas Que Nada” in Brazilian Portuguese. Check it out here!
